Farhaana studied mathematics education at the University of Miami, FL and the University of Texas at Austin.  She obtained her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2010.  Realizing that she needed to tap into her creative side, she began exploring acting and performing arts in more depth, home staging, interior decorating, and even real estate. A sequence of visits with a Reiki practitioner helped her to remove mental and emotional blocks that she had with pursuing artistic endeavors.  The journey led her not only to pursue and obtain roles in film projects but to later become Reiki I certified, Reiki II certified and eventually become a Reiki master herself.

As a young adult, Farhaana was always interested in the metaphysical.   She always felt that she was different and sometimes that she did not belong. She later was able to see that she was different and that it was okay. This difference manifested in her having vivid dreams which would often come true, in being a magnet for other people who needed someone to listen, and in being very in tune with her spirit.  Currently, Farhaana has a PhD, HHP (holistic health practitioner) certification and (SC) spiritual counselor certification in order to help others, live more authentically, and live in her purpose. Twice divorced, she has a keen understanding and sensivity for working with those who are experiencing feelings of heartbreak and loss.
